For me, Reader, a wonderful Rosh Hashanah has always been about that perfect balance of tradition and vision for a more playful and fun future. -The kind of table where every bite is drenched in symbolism but also, just happens to be straight-up absurdly delicious. This year’s lineup is packing all of the hits, reimagined with a dose of the Cinnamon Snail sparkly stuff: a round challah laced with apples and pomegranate, cozy butternut squash soup to kick off soup season, and even a no-fuss tzimmes that’s secretly weeknight-friendly. From smoky harissa carrots to pie that fully replaces the usual apple cake (and then some), these recipes aren’t just holiday food, and even the goyim can get down for sure. 🙏 As they say: L'shanah tovah tikateivu ❤️(and OMG, get ready for a table full of absolute bangers)For those of you who observe Rosh Hashanah, my family and I are wishing you a peaceful new year. And you know what, even if you don't we still are ❤️ - Your vegan cooking buddy, Adam P.S. Listen Reader, Mole. It's what's for dinner. Side note: this is NOT the mole in question. Mole is famous for being a savory thing made with chocolate in it. But what makes it crazy flavorful is the roasted dried chiles, charred tomatoes and garlic, fried almonds, and roasted spices. If you have never made it, you are about to lose your dmn mind, because it's hella tasty, and easier than you think. Because I live in a neighborhood with a ton of people from Puebla, I am sharing the style of...
